Stephen Boorman was convicted of the attempted murder of a 44-year-old man.
They had been drinking together when he stabbed him 4 times at a flat on Black Bull Road.
In 2019 Stephen Boorman was convicted along with Jibreel Raheem and James Brabbs for the murder of Taras Nykolyn 49.
For Taras Nykolyn's murder, Stephen Boorman was sentenced to 35 years, Jibreel Raheem to 20 years and nine months and James Brabbs to 10 years.
They were all prisoners in HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes.
After smuggling weapons into the prison they attacked Taras Nykolyn on 5 June 2018, slashing him and trying to used a bed sheet as a ligature to behead him.
After the assault they refused to allow prison guards into the yard resulting in Taras Nykolyn being delayed medical treatment for about 40 minutes.
Taras Nykolyn died from head and facial injuries.
